What happens after I pay the deposit?
You get access to the intake interview within 24 hours. Complete it at your pace — it covers your workflows, pain points, and how your crew operates. We review the results and schedule your discovery session.
How long does a custom build take?
Setup packages: 1-2 weeks. Build packages: 2-3 weeks. Enterprise: 4-6 weeks. We build fast because the founder does the work directly, with AI-assisted development.
What is the intake interview?
A guided interview about your business — your workflows, your team structure, your pain points, how jobs flow from lead to completion. Takes about 30-45 minutes. We use the results to show up to your discovery session already knowing your operation.
What if I need changes after the support window?
The maintenance retainer covers bug fixes, minor updates, and keeping your custom modules compatible with OPS platform updates. Bigger feature requests are quoted as new projects.
Do I need a separate OPS subscription?
Yes. SPEC is a build service — your OPS subscription is your ongoing access to the platform. It may be higher than standard if your custom modules require additional infrastructure.
Can I upgrade my package later?
Yes. Start with Setup to configure OPS for your workflow. If you want a custom module built later, the Build package fee applies (minus what you already paid for Setup). Same for Enterprise.
What if I am not sure which package I need?
Start with Setup. It is the lowest commitment and we will tell you honestly during discovery if your needs require Build or Enterprise. No pressure, no upsell games.
Is there a refund policy on the deposit?
If we have not started work, the deposit is fully refundable. Once discovery sessions begin, the deposit covers work already completed. The remaining 50% is due at delivery.
